This course equips the student with the fundamental mechanical and expressive skills to understand simple texts, follow basic instructions and state or recount things or events.
This course builds on the foundations set in Basic 1. It introduces the student to more complex mechanics and expression, allowing him to make better sense of more complex instructions, convey more complicated events and write simply for situational purposes.
This course builds on both the foundations set in the Basic courses, as well as the increased confidence of the student in the use of English. It focuses on varied mechanics and rich vocabulary, allowing the student to appeal to his readers, justify his perspectives and to use the language in a skilful, versatile way.
The capstone of our Ace With English pathway, this course guides the student to be aware of their decisions in English use, to understand, direct and shape their thought and expression, and to be a considerably more sophisticated and mature English language user.
By focusing on Vocabulary, Grammar and Sentence Structure, their capacity will increase definitely with our practices and mentoring.
